EXTERMINATE ALL BRUTES -2009

The video Exterminate all brutes is partly based on a visit to the Royal Museum for Central Africa in Tervuren, Brussels. The museum has the largest collection of Central African culture. The cellar is a temporal document, which can also be seen as a repository for hunting trophies and death. An animation on how to perform taxidermy and how to open and clean poisoned wounds accompanies the images together with the sound of a howling wind and a repetative drum-beat.
This video is the third video to enter in the triptych "Once you go Black".
